What’s it about?
The level 3 course is aimed at practising therapists who wish to incorporate Dr Bach’s system of flower remedies into their work. It is also open to people who are not practising at the moment but may set up a practice in the future, either working exclusively with Dr Bach’s system, or working with the system as one of a range of therapies.
The level 3 course comprises three parts:
PART ONE is a four-day taught course at the Bach Centre, Mount Vernon, England. Your teacher will be Lynn Macwhinnie, one of the most experienced Bach trainers in the world. Lynn will take you through the use of the remedies in professional practice, covering everything from how to conduct a consultation to the finer points of remedy knowledge. The teaching programme will be fairly intensive and at the end of the four days there will be a written assessment, successful completion of which will enable you to go on to Part Two of the course. You will have access to Dr Bach’s home and garden and the Bach Centre’s shop.
PART TWO comprises a written test that you do from home, successful completion of which will enable you to go on to Part Three.
PART THREE consists of a period of three months' practice in your own working environment, during which time you will be putting your theoretical knowledge into practical use. You will be required to prepare three in-depth case studies for presentation at the end of the three month period, together with an extended essay.
In total the course will take about 6 months to complete, but you can take up to 18 months if you need to. The cost is 552 UK pounds, which includes VAT.
On satisfactory completion of the level 3 course students have an opportunity to apply for inclusion on the Bach Foundation International Register of Practitioners maintained by the Bach Centre. Anybody who has attended a level 2 course can attend a level 3, but registration and the issue of the accompanying Certificate are discretionary and conditional on your agreeing to work under the Bach Foundation Code of Practice. The Code represents a commitment to respect the completeness and simplicity of Dr Bach's work. In particular, registered practitioners undertake only to select remedies using the simple consultation methods used by Dr Bach, and to present the 38 remedies as a complete system.
